Gregory Ferguson, aka Lunar Orbit Rendezvous, is an electronic producer and composer based in Northern Ireland. This summer sees the release of his second album “Faith/Reason” on Ransom Note Records, following his eponymous debut in 2018 which won praise from Mixmag and Clash magazine. Ferguson began his “Lunar Orbit Rendezvous” moniker in 2015. The project kicked off with an EP of re-edits of Kraftwerk, Arthur Russel and Derrick Carter which was quickly supported by John Talabot, Ame, Bicep and many more. A string of releases followed with Exit Strategy, Cin Cin and Correspondant as well as DJ and live sets at venues including Corsica Studios, Nitsa and Boiler Room. His debut album followed in 2018 along with the launch of his own label, LOREC. Now in 2021 Gregory has returned with a second long player which takes the cinematic elements of his debut and pushes them further into dusty, ambient soundworlds, featuring found sounds and off-kilter synths.
