Biography

Akcent is a multi-certified, award-winning Romanian dance pop act, followed by over 3.5 million fans. The artist took the international market by storm with the release of the breakthrough single “Kylie”, the English version of the local hit “Dragoste De Inchiriat ”. The song reached the peak position in many European charts such as the Netherlands or France. “True Believers” (2009), the artist's follow-up album included hit singles such as “That’s My Name”, “Stay With Me” and "Lover’s Cry", all produced by Adrian Sina, the mastermind behind the band. The international success of the album brought them the Best Duet/Group Award at the Balkan Music Awards in 2009, while “That’s My Name” and “Stay With Me” were released in regions such as the US through Ultra Records and Scandinavia through Warner Music Group. Akcent’s next single, “My passion”, made it into the #32 spot on the KNHC Seattle,WA FM radio station top 89 of 2012 New Year’s Eve countdown. After an incredible 2017 for Akcent, with concerts in countries such as Turkey, Pakistan, UAE, Russia, SUA and more, alongside international collaborations, Adrian Sina, the famous artist, composer and producer returned to the studio to finish hist first discographic material since Love The Show (2016). The still untitled EP will be release over a 2 month period in the first half of 2018, with three tracks released so far: “My Lady”, “Stole My Heart”, “Deep In Your Eyes”
