Intricate finger-picking hints to her acoustic folk roots, but with her ambient soundscapes, ethereal vocals, and guitars bathed in delay, Lisette Lowe has forayed into the worlds of post-rock and ambient and established her own, genre-defying sound. The Dutch singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer has been writing, recording, and performing in Europe, Australia, and North America since she was eighteen. Her lyrics are poetry in their own right; her voice has you on the brink of the dream. Just after graduating high school, Lisette packed a single bag and a guitar and hopped on a plane to embark on a search for songs around the world. She self-organised a solo tour of thirteen shows throughout Tasmania and mainland Australia, without the help of any management, promoters, or advertisement, without a driver’s license even - relying solely on word of mouth and her own persistence and drive for adventure. She has since lived, recorded, and performed in Seattle, Maastricht, and Munich. She released her debut album In The Uncertain in 2020 and has spent the pandemic years working on her second album, which will be released in 2023.
