Mystic Manta is a solo project from the lead singer of the electronica band Worm is Green. Gudridur Ringsted, is also a mental health nurse, a yoga teacher and a mother of four, living in the Icelandic countryside with raw nature outside the window and lots of animals on the farm. Gudridur gets a lot of inspiration from her surroundings, which inspires her to be creative. She released her debut single, The Devil's Song, in 2021 and her first solo album, No Room for Blame or Shame, in the beginning of 2022. Since then she has been working on music in her spare time and releasing new singles.
