One of the most productive of his generation, Istanbul based producer Mert Yalcin known as Aspis, blends a creation of electronic-instrumental crossover, organic house, melodic techno and downtempo surfing among the subgenres. Luckily he has ears made in Turkiye and they play a major effect on his production of handmade organic sounds and fierce, dramatic eastern rhythms. Aspis plays music to joy and for intercultural communication by playing for the purpose of bringing people together, share their heritages and most importantly to make them dance together.
