Scammy has gained a huge amount of attention over the years, notably for his friendship with MoStack and his music videos gaining over 300,000 views on YouTube. Growing up in a household with a father who played the bass for the reggae group Private Collection, music has always been an important factor in Scammy's life. Influenced by 2Pac & Dr. Dre; at a younger age Scammy would perform in talent shows as young as the age of 8 and would rap and make music with his best friend ‘Muffin’ who he lost at the tender age of 15. ‘That’s why I call myself Scammy 2 Times because I’m making music not just for myself but for Muffin too’. Following the success of ‘Problem’ reaching over 100,000 views on Link Up TV, touring globally and taking a brief hiatus. Problem 2 was first recorded over Kodak Black's 'Tunnel Vision'. Scammy wrote Problem 2 to reflect his reality of dealing with the police and feeling unable to confront the issues he faces throughout his life.
