Originally from Uruguay and based in Berlin since 2012, Ema Remedi has been sharpening her crafts as a DJ and producer for over ten years. From her beginnings with collaborative projects like House You, Quit Your Job and her own label Astelagüel, she has always contributed to her home country’s underground music scene. In 2017 she’s invited to join the live streaming platform Pulse as a curator of its new record label, coming up with a fine selection of talents from that corner of the world. Whilst a lot of her time is dedicated to honing in on her own productions, she’s often found playing infamous venues like Hoppetosse, Sisyphos, Goldengate and Club der Visionäre in Berlin, as well as bringing her distinct style to clubs and festivals across Europe and South America, from Cocoon in Punta del Este and Badaboum in Paris to D.Edge in São Paulo. Recent years have seen Ema drop her productions on esteemed imprints such as Sketches, Ottavia, Savor Music, and lately join the burgeoning family of the legendary Visionquest label with her 4-track "Outsider" EP. In an attempt to explore different musical corners, the Uruguayan artist started working four years ago on a new downtempo experimental project under the alias The Tellurian Experience, diving into a world of jazzy and trip-hop influenced rhythms, dreamy soundscapes and hipnotizing arpeggiators.
