Imagined through the haze while the Beatles were playing 'Sparks Across Darkness' was born. After completing his Bachelor's in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University 'Sparks' moved back to his home town of Sacramento, California. While honing his craft at local venues he often spearheaded shows and booked traveling artists. His endeavors allowed him to share the stage with fellow contemporaries R.A.P. Ferreira, Hobo Johnson, Serengeti, Chuuwee, Billy Woods, Cage, Blueprint and DJ Abilities (of Eyedea & Abilities). Recent singles “Daisies” featuring Sean LaMarr & “Doughboy” show a pivot in creative direction. They’re the perfect songs for sitting outside with a joint. Heavily inspired by MF Doom, Sparks has decided to no longer perform live while exposing his face.
