michel ko is a 25 year old R&B/Pop singer-songwriter. Born in Taipei to a Taiwanese father and a Japanese mother, michel ko gree in a multi-cultural background, speaking English, Japanese and Mandarin, often including more than one language in his songs. Initially gaining traction in early 2020 from lofi-pop single “Princess”, michel ko saw success with subsequent release “Gone” and would go on to release his first EP “bleu”. With the release michel ko was selected as the cover artist for Spotify playlist “ブルーにこんがらがって”. 2022 saw michel ko release his second EP “i dont like people but i like you” signaling an artistic change with more rock and indie-infused influences. Along with fellow members of artist collective “Solgasa” he was also selected to be the cover of Spotify playlist “Soul Music Japan” with their release of “Too Good To Be True”.
