Mr. Monkei (Full name Leo Henry Wilson born May 30, 1987, also previously known as “Doble”) is an American music producer, film score composer and singer song-writer born in Detroit, MI currently residing in Miami, FL.. He has made over 80 songs in various genres including pop, r&b, hiphop, electronic, dance, synthpop as well as Latin genres such as reggaeton, salsa, and bachata. After living in Medellin, Colombia for 3 years to learn Spanish and improve his music in the Latin genres. He is well respected in the Latin music community and has gained international fame with a repertoire of songs. Mr. Monkei’s newest single “Happy Dreamer” has been gaining attention in the US, Canada and Latin America. “Happy Dreamer” and “God’s Eyes” have both been submitted for consideration for nomination at the 67 Grammy Awards with high chances of being nominated.
