Biography

Violinist J. Patrick Rafferty has had a distinguished career as concertmaster, chamber musician, and soloist. He has performed on 5 continents with some of the world's great musicians. Concertmaster credits include the Milwaukee Symphony, the San Diego Symphony, the Seattle Symphony, the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, the Dallas Bach Orchestra, the Dallas Fine Arts Orchestra, and the Brevard Music Center Orchestra. Concerto performances include 40+ works performed with symphony orchestras of St. Louis, Cincinnati, Dallas, Milwaukee and many others. As recitalist and chamber musician, Rafferty has performed in major cities throughout the United States, Europe, South America, and Asia. Teaching positions include the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, the University of Alabama, the University of Louisville, and DePaul University.
