Anne Tello aka x.o.anne is an American artist and songwriter currently based in London. Anne has been developing her musical talents since early childhood. Born in Palo Alto, CA, she began studying classical Suzuki piano when she was 4 and started working as a professional musician in her teens, singing in local Boston area synagogues. She later moved to New York City to study musical theater at the New York University Tisch School of Arts CAP21 program, where she received the prestigious Martin Luther King Jr. scholarship. She also holds an Msc in Behavioural Economics from the City University of London. Tello has performed in venues all over the USA, from the Bowery Electric, to the Whiskey a Go Go, to the Standard Hotel, and many more. Anne co-wrote “Fake Friends”, the 2020 breakout single by PS1 which was Top 20 in the UK Official Charts, is a Brit certified Gold record, and has garnered nearly 50 million streams on Spotify. In 2021, Anne’s cut “Reaching Out” by Dillon Francis ft. Bow Anderson debuted on 35 Spotify New Music Friday playlists around the world. Last year, Anne had a cut with Global Records artist Holy Molly. The track, “Watch Me”, was a Top Ten in the radio charts in Romania. Additionally, she has written music for various internationally televised commercials for brands such as Kewpie and SoftBank.
