With Marcela Lucatelli on vocals, Erik Kimestad Pedersen on trumpet and Henrik Olsson on guitar, EHM focuses on intense and brutal sonic collisions that require the three musicians to use all their inventive powers and extended techniques. Born in Brazil and based in Denmark, Marcela has earned international recognition for her extremely original, sensuous and politically charged performance works and for her very strong stage presence. Kimestad creates sounds with the trumpet that are not included in the trumpet manual and Henrik Olsson's unconventional guitar playing is the perfect partner for Lucatelli. Together they create what has been described as inhuman human noise. Lucatelli, Pedersen and Olsson mutate their voices, breaths and the guitar strings into extreme, chaotic soundscapes that still have some twisted sensual quality. Like noisy godzillas that enjoy the Danish hygge in a compact, sweaty space.
