"Montreal-born Frederique Germain started singing at an early age and by the time she turned 17, she had improved her vocal technique as a result of having worked on hundreds of cover versions. Her experience in the recording studios proved fruitful as she was selected to participate in the 2019 season of La Voix (Quebec’s answer to The Voice). She qualified for the quarter-finals and sang alongside celebrities such as Lara Fabian, Robert Charlebois, and Styx. Since then, the singer-songwriter performs under the stage name of FREDYCOUGZ and her new style harmoniously blends elements of jazz, R&B and pop. 
 She’s been recently added to the French Montrealer’s duo Futurès after doing a collaboration with them. 
 FREDYCOUGZ welcomes you into her mindscape and yet, her song-writing essentially mirrors the world around her. The artist is currently working on new music.
