Calico Tha Beast(born Rodney Johnson) is an underground Hip-Hop Artist from Houston, TX. He began rapping at the age of 15. Though he grew up in the Houston area, his Hip-Hop influence comes mostly from the Midwest. Influenced by artists such as Bone Thugs N Harmony, Twista, and Tech N9ne, Calico has definitely showcased those traits and sound throughout the years in his music. But even with that influence, Cali's southern roots still shine through.
