Born in Camden, New Jersey J.Garcia was raised in a troubled neighborhood. Not the lifestyle she wanted for her kids, J.Garcia’s mother moved them to Florida. Growing up, he fell in love with music and basketball and became one of the best guards in his city. However, his trouble found him back in Camden without a high school diploma. He continued his basketball legacy in a summer league where he was coached by a coach for Ruckers Community College. He recommended him to try out but he needed his GED first. Life was looking bright, but once again, trouble sent him back to Florida. His dad, and primary support, told him to get his life together, so J.Garcia decided to put everything into his music. His trouble, family, early parenthood, and failed relationships have created the music you hear today.
