Genre bending pop, rock, rap, and more JVNO is able to cultivate a unique sound the captivates the listener regardless of their age or demographic. The Zimbabwean born, Alberta raised singer/rapper first got on the scene in 2020 after launching Independent record label Underdog Records with label mate and main collaborator Zach Taylor. JVNO’s debut project “3P” was released July 2020 gaining 50k streams to date. Following the hype JVNO released 7 singles over the course of a year including his hit single “No Mistake” which has garnered 40k streams since its release. Only 12 months after 3P’s release JVNO drops his debut EP “GRIPTAPE” which includes some of his biggest songs such as “Southpaw”, “Gonna Be Ready”, and “Pennies” featuring Zach Taylor. In 2022 JVNO took the digital attention and brought it IRL selling out his first co-headlining concert at the infamous Koi venue in Calgary just months before its permanent closure, having several songs featured on Calgary X92.9’s + CBC Radio, having his EP gain 100k streams worldwide, as well as received a nomination for Alternative recording of the year at 2022 YYC Music Awards.
