Tanishque is a vocalist, composer, and producer known for his innovative blend of Indian classical music with contemporary genres. In 2017, he co-founded the fusion band Pakshee, marking the beginning of a vibrant musical journey. The band’s debut album, released in 2019, garnered critical acclaim, followed by a compelling EP in 2024. Over the years, Pakshee has toured extensively, headlining major festivals including Bacardi NH7 Weekender, the Udaipur World Music Festival, the Jaipur Literature Festival, and the Freespace Jazz Festival in Hong Kong, where he shared the stage with prominent international jazz artists. Despite his advancements in the fusion and contemporary space, Tanishque’s roots in Indian Classical Music remain central to his artistry. With a deep commitment to preserving and evolving traditional forms, he continues to craft genre-defying soundscapes that reflect both his classical heritage and his forward-thinking musical vision.
