Born in Jamaica, now residing in the UK, JXY (pronounced "Jey") reflects his proud Caribbean side through his melodies and musical vibes. His ability to adapt to many different genres is a skill that definitely catches the ear. 
 JXY’s first solo release only came in mid 2019. His track ‘Frosty’ gained a lot of recognition with the hard-hitting lyrics and flows it consisted of, as well as the music video having that Mafia touch to it. 
 His biggest breakthrough in rap came when he dropped his single ‘Too Many’ which quickly gathered streams across all platforms. The audacity of some of the lyrics is somewhat a reflection of JXY himself in regards to his confidence and belief that he is one to be taken seriously. 
 He showed his creative versatility by switching over to the R&B side where he then delivered insane melodies that were met with deep, meaningful lyrics that are relatable to many. 
 He moved forward in the R&B world by releasing his EP ’Nuluv’ which has surpassed 250,000 streams on Spotify. The EP was loved by many with underground R&B interest and still is getting a lot of attention today. The perfectly constructed EP has four vibey, soulful tracks that have many relatable narratives in them. 
 JXY keeps making strives in the music world and it looks like there is no stopping the ever-growing cult figure.
