Originally from the island of Cebu, Philippines and now based in Miami, Pop-R&B artist TRYNKET sings, raps, writes, plays piano, and self-records in her bedroom. Soon after starting piano lessons at the age of five, TRYNKET began to compose her own songs and throughout the years, music became her form of self-therapy to process her experiences with love and loss. After learning how to record herself in late 2020, according to TRYNKET, it “opened the floodgates” and led to her releasing over 70 songs in 2021 and consequently landing on 14 Spotify editorial playlists that same year. The following year, a large portion of TRYNKET's catalog was signed to several TV/Film sync agencies in LA. In September 2023, TRYNKET was selected to open for Filipina superstar, singer, and actress Vina Morales for her "Two Hearts" concert at the Grand Theater in Anaheim, CA. Two months later, she was then chosen to open for Philippines' very own "King of R&B" Jay R at the Garden Amphitheater in Garden Grove, CA. In March 2024, TRYNKET was then selected to perform in Austin as a SXSW official artist. TRYNKET writes often about her relationships, but what she enjoys creating the most are anthems and songs of empowerment for women. She has also performed her genre-blending tunes at legendary venues such as Whisky A Go Go, The Viper Room, and The Hotel Cafe and hopes to continue connecting with people from all over the world through her music.
