Laurent DAVID, bass player, is based in Brooklyn to continue and refine his work in music performance, composition and production. Always interested in new forms and expressions of music, specifically in jazz music, he organized sessions and gigs in NYC to meet like-minded musicians. The result was a trio of three metal music fans who are professional jazz musicians. About the metal/jazz background of the musicians: Laurent DAVID produced 3 metal/jazz-albums in France for the jazz power-trio M&T@L, which toured all over Europe (festivals, clubs) from 2014 until 2018. 3 concept repertoires were created: one of them was a tribute to the famous magazine "Metal Hurlant", another one to METALLICA with unique arrangings of some of their songs. He also played bass in Guillaume Perret's & The Electric Epic"(a fusion of jazz/rock/metal)., Laurent is the producer and the former musician of SHIJIN with Jacques-Schwarz-Bart, Stéphane Galland and Malcolm Braff.
