Maerin is a project of Dutch DJ and producer Marco Svarda. In 1999, Marco started using the alias, as DJ Marin, but changed it to Mykynes in 2005. Not using it ever since, Marco revisited the alias in 2017, when working on some of his very first projects, who had a very classic sound to them. With the sound not fitting for both Marco Svarda or Mykynes, he decided to reinstall 'Marin', but with the 'e' added to make it look more unique. Today Maerin covers the higher BPM ranges, from retro trance tracks to uplifting. Maerin is a project similar to Ferry Corsten's Gouryella-project. Unique productions that only see the light of day when it really feels like a Maerin-track. This makes that the releases under Maerin will only be a handful spread out over the years, with remixes being even more unique. But be prepared, because when a Maerin-release arrives, it will certainly spark any feel of nostalgia, while still bringing the energy for today's dancefloors.
