Chelmsford-based prog-metal studio band Atlas Lake hit the scene at the end of 2018 with their debut single Twisted and album The Hollow Tree Inspired by a wide variety of music, from old school computer game soundtracks to nu-metal bands such as Linkin Park, Korn, and post-grunge/alternative bands such as InMe, Atlas Lake seeks to create progressive, exciting music that is powerful but melodic. Unfortunately, Atlas Lake had issues with releasing their music and merchandise through the crowdfunding platform - PledgeMusic, and are currently attempting to make up for the issues caused by the platform's collapse. Paul Macklin, lead singer and songwriter of the band is currently working on more music for future releases.
