J Taylor is a rapper/producer born in Oklahoma City. He Moved to Houston, Texas at the age of 5, and it was there he found his love for music. Being introduced to the likes of TobyMac, Lecrae, and KJ-52. He moved back to Oklahoma City when he was 15, and started taking music more seriously. He released his first EP "Never Forget" in the summer of 2017 to positive reviews. His second EP releasing just a year later in 2018 titled "The Art of Flight" was also received well. In January of 2020, his debut album " STRUGGLE. PAIN. VICTORY." came out with raving reviews and brought J Taylor's name to the limelight. Later that year he released an EP with Dawson Samuel titled "The Odyssey" to outstanding reception. J Taylor has taken a hiatus starting in 2020 after the release of "Focus (feat. Event the Astrokid)". But is back to making music and ready to write, produce, and record songs of a movement. Wanting to feed his generation with hope, and positivity. Now based out of Fort Worth Texas, J Taylor released his fourth studio album, “GIANTS” to great reviews, writing with those he’s met during his hiatus. J Taylor draws great influence from the likes of Andy Mineo, Eminem, and Logic, to create something to uniquely call his own. He’s not afraid to try something different and to dive head first into something new. From melodic pop, to hard rap bars; J Taylor wants to use his gifts to bring a movement to the world.
