Kavya Ajit is a trained Carnatic musician, western violinist and a live performer. She is also a playback singer and has recorded songs in all the South Indian languages and has worked with reputed music directors like A R Rahman, Ouseppachan, Shaan Rahman, Gopi Sunder, Deepak Dev and Rahul Raj. In her career spanning 5 years so far, she has sung more than 15 songs in films and has rendered her voice for a lot of successful jingles and independent albums.Also being a live performer, Kavya’s violin performances along with her versatile singing interest the crowd. The variety of languages and genres that she covers also make her shows appealing. She performs Carnatic songs, film and non film songs in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Spanish and Arabic. She has been doing stage shows in India and abroad (Australia, US, South Africa, Canada, Switzerland, UK, Singapore, Dubai, Abudhabi, Kuwait, Doha to name a few places). She has been giving guest performances for Vijay TV super singer reality show and has also been a vital part of their live shows. Recently, she also got to be a part of A R Rahman Live as a solo violinist.
