Alyn Sano is a Rwandan singer and songwriter known for sensational Pop Music, relatable lyrics, and an iconic voice. After kick-starting her career with the single ‘Naremewe Wowe’ in 2018, she released numerous national and regional hits including ‘Radiyo’, ‘Fake Gee’, ‘Boo and Bae’ and ‘Say Less’ featuring Sat-B from Burundi and Fik Fameika from Uganda. She recently released her debut album 'RUMURI'. Born October 10 1995, Sano is the third child in a family of five who were raised by a single mother. At the age of 15, she started singing in a choir, where she started crafting her songwriting in the gospel genre. Alyn Sano released many singles, some of which made it to the top of country charts, including ‘Rwiyoborere’, ‘None’ (Ni wo munsi ufite), ‘For Us’, and feature bangers including ‘We The Best’ ft the late Yvan Buravan, ‘Say Less’ ft Sat-B from Burundi and Fik Fameika from Uganda. She has managed to perform in some biggest events such as ‘VicFalls Carnival’, ‘BAL’, ‘Blankets and Wine Kigali’, ‘Kwita Izina’, ‘Transform Africa Summit’, ‘Afro Basket’, ‘Kigali Jazz Junction’, Women Deliver 2023, ‘East African Party’, ‘Iwacu Music Festival’ and many more. Alyn became an influencer of the first-ever Trace Awards 2023 and she was the only Rwandan artist to present an award in this event. In her daily life, Alyn Sano looks up to her mother, whom she calls her role model. She also likes hitting the gym and running to refresh.
