Her songs are stories, sacred histories and mantras that transport listeners to an earth-centered and connected place within themselves. Malian’s mission is to translate the lessons of the Atlantean fall into a new and more enduring society of light. By braiding the more masculine Atlantean and feminine Lemurian energy at her home in Moku o Keawe in Hawai`i, her creations in music, art, relationships, farming, and business are bringing the masculine and feminine into balance. Malian’s mixed cultural lineage has led her to become a world traveller. The rich traditions and experiences she has had with local indigenous peoples around the globe has given her a global perspective on music, art, wellness, and has firmly rooted the truth of the oneness of humanity into her core. Malian is also an accomplished permaculturist and organic farmer. Her work with a focus on social entrepreneurship and fair-trade coffee relationships has led her to action in the creation of the annual Mauli Ola Festival, which takes place in Pahala, on the big island of Hawaii.
