Diego Quintero is a talented DJ and producer hailing from Cali, Colombia, the heart of the world's Salsa music scene. He began his DJ career in 2007 and made his debut as a producer in 2009 with the Miami-based label Bedroom Muzik, run by DJ Wady. With a unique sound blending Latin and Tribal Tech House rhythms, Diego's music is deeply influenced by Afro-Caribbean beats and is guaranteed to get any dancefloor moving. His first releases caught the attention of international music icon, Richie Hawtin, who was the first to support Diego's music in 2009, playing his track "Phobia," co-produced with Jonathan Jaramillo, which quickly climbed the charts of electronic music stores. In 2010, Diego moved to France to further his engineering studies and delve deeper into the electronic music scene. In 2012, he released the EP "Flashback" with Miguel Bastida on Definitive Recordings, founded by John Acquaviva and Richie Hawtin. He also released the track "Funky People" on UMEK's 1605 label, a leading reference for Techno and Tech House music worldwide, and collaborated with artists such as Harvy Valencia and DJ Fronter. He has performed live in clubs and festivals across 18 countries, showcasing his musical projects to fans around the world. He has contributed official remixes for George Privatti, Alex Young, The Deepshakerz, and many others, and his music has been played by influential DJs such as Richie Hawtin, Loco Dice, Dubfire, Roger Sanchez, John Acquaviva, DJ Sneak, Slam, etc.
