Christopher Herriot, known professionally as “Kidd Klassic”, (born February 23rd, 1997) is a 22-year old American rapper, singer, and songwriter hailing from Southside of The Bronx, New York City. Kidd Klassic is no newcomer when it comes to music. Born in Brooklyn, New York, into a family with a history with music, he has always been around the influence of different sounds. It has been noted by his peers that, in school, he was known for his skills in writing, and that it was only a matter of time before he tried his hand at music. He is part of the new generation of rappers who came up releasing singles and albums on SoundCloud. In late December, 2016, Kidd Klassic released his first mixatpe “Nightmares of the Bottom” on SoundCloud through his own indie-label, La Familia Records". That mixtape led to a summer 2017 joint album under the title “No Ordinary Tape” with fellow artist and label-mate, Quota, that he would officially release on all major platforms. That album went on to give Kidd Klassic and his team a small buzz. His official solo album debut, “Forbidden Fruit”, was released October of that same year. He released his next project, “Nightmares of the Bottom 1.5”, a 5-track EP, in March of 2018. His official follow-up full length album, “Nightmares of the Bottom 2”, a sequel to his 2016 mixtape, was released late December of that same year. Currently, he is working on his forthcoming album, “Forbidden Fruit 2”, slated to release August 22nd, 2019.
