 MilesYoung is an infinite explorer of sound. A self proclaimed "SoLar Hip-Hop" artist, his sound has a unique array of musical influence ranging from "conscious hip-hop" to soulful R&B. 
 Miles' strengths as a musician are represented in his immediacy to reach the magnitudes promoting love and individualism. 
 Throughout his childhood Miles was exposed to legendary sounds such as Earth Wind & Fire, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Miles Davis, Michael Jackson and his all time favorite: Stevie Wonder. Miles found a passion for the piano early; and learned to play by ear. Shortly after, Miles began piano lessons he developed a greater ear and a deeper adoration for music. 
 In his early teenage years, Miles became accustomed to the new wave of music forming what Hip-Hop is today. Heavily inspired by Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls, Miles' became involved in local rap groups and performed at several clubs and venues. Inventing Independently, Miles explores his artistry in various ways weaving between music - including photography, video editing, and other media based visuals.
