Biography

Named after a Gary Numan Tubeway Army B-side, Me My Head were formed by Dave Lightfoot from the embers of The Moths (The Dead Moths) at the beginning of 2008. From this came a sound hungry for big stages, echoing elements of new wave romantics, lonely space travellers, love lost, ice cold pop and the thunder of a house falling down.
The band's debut single ‘Damage is Done’ got to number 8 in the UK indie charts in 2008 and the group toured across the UK and Europe playing with a diverse selection of bands including Twin Atlantic, White Lies, Gary Numan and Flood Of Red.
Me My Head released their debut album 'Survival in No Mans Land' in 2009, co-produced by Richard McNamara from Embrace. With a vibrant new wave indie sound that captured the imaginations of people all over the world, it had songs featured on major radio stations, TV, film and video games - in particular the track ‘White Lights’ became one of the highlights of the Test Drive Unlimited 2 video game soundtrack released in 2011.
