Well, I started playing guitar at 14, learning from my dad who played mostly country and folk music. He was a skilled guitarist, singer, songwriter, and pedal steel player, as well as one of my first and heaviest influences musically.  At 18, I got my first electric guitar, a Fender Telecaster, and dove hard into rock n' roll and blues music. Shortly after my dad passed away I found newgrass music, and a new way of looking at acoustic instruments. In 2017, I began to dabble with playing mandolin and dobro, and later that year helped form Into the Fog soon after traveling to Telluride, Colorado to play in the band competition. Since then I've had the joy of playing in 4 different states and hundreds of shows with these guys, not to mention meeting some really cool people (i.e Sam mf Bush.)  When Covid-19 hit in March 2020, we had most of our shows cancelled and I all of a sudden had time to turn my energy towards some original songs that had been on my back-burner for a while.  I began recording my first solo album titled 'Dragging My Shadow' and released it on October 10th, 2020.
