dugg mason is a rapper and record-producer based in Chicago, IL. mason began playing instruments and writing songs at the age of 12 and eventually graduated to penning verses and producing records throughout his teen years. After graduating high school and moving to Oakland, CA, mason honed in on his craft as a producer while studying the work of visionaries like Terrace Martin, 9th Wonder, and Big K.R.I.T. His music pays homage to the flutter and bounce of classic West Coast hip hop while incorporating off-colored samples, elements of electronic and dance music, and deft lyrics. Between 2017 & 2018 mason self-produced and engineered a series of singles, releasing them independently every first-of-the-month.
