Ashikwei-Mensah Attram known professionally as Casta Troy, is a Ghanaian rapper, songwriter and producer from Takoradi. Casta Troy was born and raised in Takoradi in the Western Region. He is the last of three children. He attended St. John's School, Sekondi. He later attended University for Development Studies, Wa.Casta Troy gained recognition in 2017 when he released a song titled ‘Get It’. He has since gone on to recieve over 10 nominations of which he has won 3. He is currently the Western Music Award's Best Hiphop Award's holder. In 2018, he released his first EP, Mind Of Picasso which had songs like Get it, Spoil There among others. He went ahead to release "Nobody Dey' in 2019 which clearly cemented his name as the best hiphop artiste in Western Region. On Janurary 7th, 2020 he released his first album titled 'Mind Of Picasso 2', which has songs like Caribbean Girl, Word, Red Robin Hood, Woes Of Cayo among others.Casta Troy has performed on almost all the big stages in and around Western Region ranging from Kinaata's Made In Tadi which had over 25,000 people present to Western Music Awards which is currently the most attended musical event in Western Region. He has also performed at Skyy Carnival and TadiFest which are the two main outdoor X'Mas festivals in Takoradi where he hails from.
