Her debut cd Dreams of Love (2004 ) earned her the first of 3 nomination she received for Seattle's Earshot Jazz Golden Ear Awards. After recording Water (2009) and Songs from a Bookmark (2014) Rochelle’s cross-genre musical compositions and performances have led to the creation of New House Orchestra. New House Orchestra, an ensemble of emerging musical talent. Composed of individuals whose genius lies not only in their ability to express themselves in the genre in which they were trained but also in their unique ability and willingness to create music outside of “genre” and inside the present moment, with a joyful and careful abandon. New House Orchestra at its core includes Rochelle House, Evan Flory-Barnes, Andy Coe, D’Vonne Lewis, with a changing roster having included, Owour Arunga, Teo Shantz, Thione Diop, Kate Olson, Tim Kennedy, Geoff Harper, Thomas Marriot, Rave Holly, and Donormaal. Rochelle's 4th album Earth on Fire with New House Orchestra will be released on Vinyl in late 2019. Rochelle teaches singing to people who want to find their voice or sing jazz or prepare for birth or just for the joy of it. She directed a Neighbor Children’s Choir, which was free to all the children of the neighborhood and children of all abilities to come together and sing and she's spent time teaching music to children in Punjab India
