For close to two decades, IDE has been producing music and operating the independent record label, Creative Juices Music. Growing in New Jersey, right over the bridge from New York City, IDE always had his foot in the NYC music scene, frequenting spots like Wetlands, Tramps, and Nuyorican Poets Cafe. Having interned at recording studios and record labels including Wu-Tang Recordings as early as 15 years old, IDE moved to NYC in 2001. He began recording music on a nearly daily basis and soon met Alucard through mutual friends. The two began working on demos nonstop, ultimately leading to the creation of Creative Juices Music. A life-long entrepreneur of New York City Hip Hop culture, IDE has released an extensive catalog of albums. What started as a hobby in middle school by collecting records, writing rhymes, and making beats ultimately became a life long pursuit. With a growing roster of artists to Creative Juices Music, IDE states “All of the talent presented themselves naturally over the years. They are friends and people we highly respect, as well as being fans of their music.” IDE has produced for countless emcees and has contributed to well over 50 releases on Creative Juices Music. IDE’s most recent work includes completing his solo album Breathe Easy and producing the debut solo album from U.G. (Cella Dwellas) entitled Portals. IDE continues to produce, engineer, and rhyme while operating Creative Juices Music behind the scenes.
