Anish KP aka Anish Kaushik Phukon is a poet, writer, songwriter/lyricist, composer and producer originally from Moran, Assam, India & currently based on New Delhi, India. His first song, "Jibon," was released on YouTube in 2021, but he officially began his musical journey with "Bhalpuwa " in 2022. Before his official journey in music, he had written and composed songs such as "Mur Hepah Morohi," "Aakhor," and "Apunaloi," which are available on YouTube as raw versions. Among them, "Apunaloi" is the most loved by people, prompting him to plan an official release of this song soon. In 2023, he released his debut album "Aalap" featuring five songs "Aalapi", "Tumaloi Bate Sao", "Rongili Pokhila", "Abhimani Faguni" and the soon-to-be-released "Xorogi Xudha." Additionally, he has written songs like "Khirikir Fakere", "Tumar Babe - Title Track", "Unnaxi Mon ", "Mitha Mitha" & "Tumi Posuwar Batori". He has also contributed as an additional lyricist to songs such as "Bisaru Morom Tumarei " and "Aha Na". In 2024, a rock song titled "Aak Bak" was released, which he wrote and composed, marking a departure from his previous work due to its genre.
