Biography

Joakim delivered the ultimate summer-smash single "Always gonna say sorry" together with Maia Wright. A track that quickly became a favorite on playlists worldwide and still growing. DJ Mag wrote in their EDC Las Vegas special that the single "straddles between pop and dance, with catchy vocals that sweep into a puddle of good vibes, built with sunny chords and chirpy bits of Vox". That feedback characterizes Joakim's music and his feeling for creating tracks, good vibes, big emotions, swinging drops and catchy vocals. He got his first big breakthrough on an international level through the single "Morning Sun" with UK producer Corey James. The powerful progressive house-tune climbed to the Top 20 of the Beatport chart instantly and hinted the top 10 of the Spotify Viral Top 50. The single got strong support from the likes of Tom Swoon, Max Vangeli and Third Party. Furthermore, Joakim has delivered songs together and/or written with names such as Maia Wright, Cher Lloyd, Elvira Andefjärd, Cornelia Jakobs, Victoria Voss, Cazzi Opeia, AMAYA, Robert Habolin, Moa Petterson Hammar etc. Joakim also released remixes for others (John de Sohn, Eric Saade, Charlotte Perrelli, Feenixpawl, Andreas Moe etc). Joakim produced and wrote the song ”Second sight” together with Victoria Voss which ended up in the Swedish tv-series ”Eagles”. Joakim is one of the best kept secrets in the Swedish EDM scene, keeps evolving and gives us his very best every time he puts something official out.
