ALETULLE envisioned a rural Spanish dream world constructed of empowered femininity, melancholic nostalgia, and a quest for truth, and came to embody this fantasy. Her noir-pop sound inspired the Spanish publication NEO2 to state that “The Next Lana Del Rey is Spanish” when interviewing ALETULLE in 2020. Her musical journey started in 2018 with the EP The Birth Of Bardo With this EP, ALETULLE knew that she was starting a journey of self-discovery as an artist, a limbo stage before establishing herself as a formed singer. ALETULLE’s family was, for many years, living as expatriates in Muscat, Oman which was more than enough time for her to fall in love with the Middle East. This is noticeable in songs such as Ten Cuidado K Vas a Caer . The dunes, the desert and the sea are settings that often set ALETULLE’s fantasies. ALETULLE is set to release in 2022 a new EP called “Return to Sender”. The EP is a love letter and a goodbye to all the relationships and dreams she lost as a result of the pandemic, while welcoming with excitement the future ‘new’.
