PLAIN & SIMPLE out 12/04/2024 Born and raised in South London, R&B singer and song writer Jayd Marie likes to take her listeners on a heartfelt journey of life lessons, pain and passion through her music. Each song Jayd Marie writes is inspired by real life events and feelings and her lyrics are used to tell snippets of her life story. Whilst Jayd Marie has been performing and releasing music as a solo artist since the start of her musical career, in early 2023, she began working with 70s and 80s inspired band Lekna, collaborating with them on multiple projects including their latest single ‘Future’s On You’ and joining them on their 2024 tour performing at venues across London and Manchester including multi award winning live music venue Band On The Wall. Jayd Marie continues to work tirelessly to solidify her place within the r&b music scene.
