Indigo Sun, formed in 1998 by Kristine Frejmann (lead vocals), Ida Nielsen (bass), and Tobias Weltzer (drums), is a Danish trip-hop, dub, and indie pop band with four studio albums under Monkey Temple Production. In 2001, they had their first radio hit with a remix of Queen "You Don't Fool Me." The tribal remix by Satellite and Lee became a club sensation in Ibiza, while Grassskirt's remix of "Pleasant Dream" was featured on various compilations. Following this success, Indigo Sun embarked on an extensive tour, performing over 30 shows with E.T.A. and Grassskirt. Evolving their sound to include dub and reggae influences, Indigo Sun released "Closer To The Fire," featuring contributions from over 30 artists. Notable collaborators include Tuco Ifill and Jah Bobby (Djosos Krost), Ras Conway (Morjac), Ena Egelund (Junkyard Productions), Wili Jønsson, Abdullah S, Ida Nielsen (Prince), and Mads Michelsen (Gnags), as well as members from The Savage Rose, Booty Cologne, BliGlad, Slo Down, and Under Byen. Their single "You Don't Fool Me (Tango Cafe Mix)," blending tango, reggae, and trip-hop, has solidified their reputation in the lounge and new tango scenes, featuring on over 50 lounge compilations, including those by Claude Challe.
