Biography

Emerging in the mid-2000s, Wetworks was discovered by Glenn Wilson, marking the start of a journey dedicated to quality and musical excellence. Under the mentorship of heroes turned peers, Wetworks was encouraged to maintain artistic integrity, demonstrating the significant role of mentorship in his musical evolution. Lately, Wetworks has been revisiting the roots of harder techno while incorporating his signature funk and percussive elements. Wetworks has since become known for producing top-tier techno and dance music, with releases on esteemed labels such as GND, Geushky, Compound, Mastertraxx, Player, Dolma, and others. His tracks, characterized by pulsating rhythms and dancefloor-ready vibes, showcase a deep understanding of music theory and a commitment to the craft. As part of the Chicago Jaxxx & Mastoid Kollektive, Wetworks serves as A&R and Creative Director, promoting artistic expression and community engagement. His involvement in initiatives like The P.I.N.K. (Pain Is No Kompanion) Compilation/Fundraiser for The Breast Cancer Research Foundation underscores his belief in using music for positive impact. Previously co-owner of Armatura/Clandestine Recordings, Wetworks now leads The Peak Hour Experience Podcast, featuring sets by prominent artists such as Paul Mac, Ryuji Takeuchi, Dean Rodell, Mike Humphries, and Uncertain. The podcast highlights Wetworks' dedication to quality and innovation.
