Sunsleep is an American alternative band originally formed by five members, Devin Barrus (Vocals), Miles Croney (Guitar), Lance Nerio (Guitar), Dylan Woods (Bass), and Mason Croney (Drums). The majority of the band was originated out of the ashes of a metal-core group from Dallas Texas then regrouping with Devin Barrus after demoing with the singer in late 2016. Sunsleep first debuted with a single titled “Fever” in February 2017 and after gaining traction through social media the band partnered with Manifest GRP (based in LA) and released their first EP titled “I Hope To See Again With Brand New Eyes” in September 2018. After the small successes that followed their debut EP and touring Sunsleep released a handful of singles "Drifting Away" (2019)," Dead", "New Sensations", and "White Tiger" in 2020 but soon followed a short hiatus due to the COVID 19 pandemic. In 2023 Sunsleep regrouped and released their first full length album titled "Moonlight Euphoria" consisting of 12 songs in total after signing to SBG records but shortly after disbanded the original lineup due to life changes and commitment issues. Devin Barrus proceeded on promoting and touring as Sunsleep as the most prominent songwriter and took full control of the project in early 2024.
