B.A.L.L. Team, A.K.A. “Born a Living Legend.” is a group of three artist (Kiyah Kiyah, Jeff, & Yvng 2oon) and one producer (Beatz by Nel). All growing up in a small city and neighborhood, New Orleans, shared a passion with music. It all started with each individual chasing their different goals, as it is normal when you’re young to find yourself. KIYAH KIYAH Nikiya Fleming (Kiyah Kiyah) was always around the music, he was a band member. He picked up a mic at the age of seven years old, mimicking one of his favorite artist “Busta Rhymes.” He started out as a rapper then later, at the age of eleven he began to teach himself how to sing. A few years after he got comfortable with his singing ability, he started recording a lot of R&B songs with Beatz by Nel. Shortly down the lined he was labeled ‘The Hook King.” He was blessed to do hooks for mainstream artists Kevin Gates, Gunplay and Kidd Kidd. YVNG 2OON Duane Fleming (Yvng 2oon) came up playing football and pursued that career part of his whole life, but looking up to his brother Kiyah Kiyah, he too picked up a mic. At the age of 13 he started writing his own music. Looking up to rapper “Meek Mill,” he began to find his sound and create his wave. JIMMY JAZZ Jeffrey Louis was also around the music where he took interest in the band. Being around his cousin Beatz by Nel, he too started to form a creative way of putting his thoughts into music. His style is a real layed back feel, and fits his personality.
