Darash Yah was born and raised in Gardena California (South Los Angeles). Always chasing new endeavors, Darash decided to take on learning to write music; his influences being the likes of Nipsey Hussle, Kendrick Lamar, Westside Boogie and Russ. Darash Saw the impact that music has on people in his community (as well as other urban communities) and as he began to study the art he realized how powerful words are. Darash uses his music as a tool to educate, push forth black and brown excellence, as well as motivate and inspire souls.
