New album coming on October 11th! Kerim König announces his new album 'Grounded' coming on October 11th. For the first time, he has collaborated with the renowned string orchestra Scoring Berlin. Accompanied by Mayuko Miyatas' sensitive piano playing, the unique voice of Teresa Bergman and selected electronic elements, the album takes the listener on an emotional journey through profound compositions. 'Grounded' was recorded at Teldex Studio Berlin under the direction of Grammy-nominated sound engineer Wolfgang Schiefermair and epitomises the transformative power of music to give us stability in turbulent times. The first single 'Broken' is out now. Thank you for listening! Kerim König gained his first stage experience with bands and ensembles as a drummer, singer and guitarist. He studied "Cultural Studies and Aesthetic Practice", specialising in music and media, at the University of Hildesheim. His first film scores for short and animated films by directors Lothar Herzog and Jan-Peter Meier were created during his studies. König then moved to Berlin and his first commissions for various television productions followed. König releases solo albums on the Cologne label Hey!blau Records, which show other facets of his compositions that are independent of images. The albums were produced in collaboration with the Japanese concert pianist Mayuko Miyata, the string orchestra Scoring Berlin and the New Zealand singer Teresa Bergman.
