In the ever-evolving landscape of contemporary classical music, composer Henning Fuchs is proving to be a trailblazer with his latest release COCOON. He combines a variety of genres and cultural influences to create his own world. His solo debut "A NEW BEGINNING" (2019) features the islandic violinist Elfa Rún Kristinsdóttir and Bjork percussionist Manu Delago. “GAIA" (2020) his second album stars among others the Bulgarian Voices Berlin, Chinese erhu master Guo Gan and world percussionist David Kuckhermann. On COCOON Henning teamed up with the Castle String Quartet and Lisa Lambe, “the finest singer and actor of her generation" (Irish Times). Henning graduated from Sir Paul McCartney's LIPA. For seven years he was band leader and songwriter of the Berlin based folk-pop band SABANOVA. They produced three studio albums. Later he received a diploma as a film composer at the Filmuniversity Potsdam-Babelsberg "Konrad Wolf“. Throughout the years Henning assisted various film composers like Max Richter (2012-17). 2020 Henning was nominated "Composer of the year" by Opus Klassik Germany. Since 2021 he lives and works in Ireland.
