the youngest of seven children born in Polk County, Florida. Chris devoted his entire life to music. He went from “The Blue Family” at five-years-old to “The Blue Brothers” and then later decided to pursue a solo career at the age of twenty. After embarking on a world wind of great shows and sharing the stage with greats such as Kirk Franklin, Hezekiah Walker, Fred Hammond,Mary Mary,Usher and Alicia Keys. In 2017, Chris decided to try-out for NBC’s The Voice Season 12 and not only was he selected to compete but show after show, he captured the hearts of millions with his combination of raw vocal talent, heartfelt honesty, and brave vulnerability. His stellar rendition of Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic” and “Take Me to The King” proved not only was he ready, but that he was a natural born star. However, the true shine was when he partnered with Multi-Grammy Award Winner Alicia Keys on their rendition of Prince’s “Diamonds and Pearls”. Just before performing The Legendary Al Green’s “Love and Happiness”, Keys shared some invaluable wisdom with her team member. Chris recalls, “Alicia looked at me and said, ‘Make sure you remain in the moment and don’t try to do anything; be it! That’s the natural order, we are human BE-ings not DO-ings’.’’ Chris says, “I always want my music to bridge the gap,” he exclaims. “I’m a young guy, but I’m an old soul.”
