French pop songwriter-singer Cosmobrown debuted his career in 2004 with EP Jumpin’ 4 Joy, a live-sounding conglomeration of electro sonorities and savory soul produced by power duo Volga Select. After electrifying the Paris underground scene for a good semi-decade, Cosmobrown returned in 2010 with a full-length studio album titled Playin’ with Ya, a cool blend of electro and funk which did little to satiate Cosmobrown’s appetite for more raving pop fare. Late 2014 saw the release of Tragic Holiday, an ode to the old school power pop and electro funk of the 80’s, borrowing its catchiest and most rousing beats from the period. Accompanied by keyboardist and longtime partner Julien Baril, bassist Ana Rago and backing singers BB Danger, Marlyne B. & Georgette, Cosmobrown who takes his name after Singin’ in the Rain’s most dashing sidekick, and his gleaming comrades are on a road to imminent success with a brand new album
