EBII, also known as Jones Ebiowi Dagana, is a UK-based recording artist, songwriter, and producer hailing from Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Growing up in Warri, Nigeria, EBII developed a passion for music at a young age. Drawn to the expressive power of Afrobeats, a genre deeply rooted in his Nigerian heritage, EBII has crafted his unique sound, which he dubs Afrofusion. In 2020, EBII made his official debut with the release of his first single, "Yousay," marking the beginning of his musical journey. Building on his success, he dropped a two-track EP titled "Two4Summer" in the summer of 2022, which garnered over 500k streams. EBII's first solo EP, "LYF," showcased his collaborative spirit by featuring the sensational Afrobeat superstar, Bella Alubo. EBII has shared the stage with Afrobeat legends and stars such as Awilo, Teni, King Promise, and Rema at The O2 Manchester and various festivals. He draws inspiration from icons like Fela Kuti, Burna Boy, and Wizkid, whose pioneering contributions to Afrobeat greatly influence his craft.
